Set Money Making Goal Obtained! - 11/24
Team Black and Gold attained our goal of $1500.00 and managed to exceed it by $45.00! The total portion was donated to our client New Hope for Kids and will be used to help fund their Christmas party as well as purchase food and toys for the children who benefit from this program.
Team Black & Gold
Our team is a collaborative effort of 5 UCF students who share a common goal to raise money and goods for our selected non-profit agency. Our agency is New Hope for Kids, a support agency that helps thousands of children in Central Florida whom have had a parent or loved one die.
This support group helps them heal from one of the deepest emotional wounds – the death of a loved one or to deal with a child with a life threatening illness. New Hope for Kids' Grief Program is the only local program that focuses on children while also addressing the grief and bereavement needs of the entire family. This is a crucial program feature because the death of a loved one affects all family members.
